Kate Duncan is a writer, director, producer, and (occasional) actor. Originally from Louisville, Kentucky, she spent time in Chicago earning her BFA in Film and Television with a concentration in Screenwriting from DePaul University.

Before focusing on Film, Kate had a career as a content creator on YouTube. She’s worked with companies including AwesomenessTV, Seventeen Magazine, and skincare brand Alba Botanica. As an actor, she most recently appeared in DON’T TELL A SOUL acting alongside Fionn Whitehead (DUNKIRK) and Jack Dylan Grazer (IT, SHAZAM!).

Pivoting from the worlds of content creation and acting, she’s passionate about advocating for artists’ mental health and hopes to challenge mental illness stereotypes in film and television. Kate’s previously worked in talent management at bicoastal company Moxie Artists and as a development intern at ACE Entertainment (XO, KITTY, TO ALL THE BOYS I’VE LOVED BEFORE).

When she’s not working or writing, Kate loves spending time with animals and her energetic Australian cattle dog, Lila.
